  I have been to this particular place once before, and the service was slow, but it was understandable considering how packed the place was at the time. My second experience (Saturday Sept. 17) however was disappointing to say the least. This time the restaurant was nowhere near as crowded, and yet our food and drinks took even longer to be served. We placed our order and it took almost a full two hours for us to receive it; only after complaining to the waitress about it. Likewise, it took so long for our drinks to arrive that we just went to the bar ourselves instead of waiting for them to arrive. I talked to the owner about this experience, but he only apologised and gave what I feel like were excuses for the unsatisfactory services. I am impressed by the food; it was excellent, I just wished the service was up to par.

  Fun stop on the Blue Ridge Parkway ~ staff is very friendly and attentive. Food was wonderful (esp Peach Cobbler!) Great view ~ music on week-ends....
