  Gearhead is a gas station turned diner. The theme works well. Staff is attentive. Had two meals so far, both meal excellent. This is a hole in the wall with style. Good peeps Good eats.

  First time I went there was for dinner. We both ordered a hamburger steak plate were shocked the peppers and onions served on top were raw. Then my boyfriend was served a baked potato and potato salad instead of the baked beans he had ordered. He had asked for mayo on side but had to ask again after food arrived. Couple in booth next to us were complaining about the hot dog plate not being cooked like they ordered. Then they walked out without paying. My food was good and served correctly, we asked about desert but were told they didn't have any, which was disappointing.
  I ate there a second time for lunch and it was good. The service both times was excellent, by a young lady named Amanda. The restaurant just seemed to not be running smoothly yet because of being newly opened. It has a very nostalgic appeal, a renevated gas station. I would dine there again but maybe after it had been open long enough to run a little smoother.
